Tuff America is already registered their lawsuit in the United States Supreme Court on May 3 last. While Adam died May 4 after a long time with cancer.
Tuff America claims, hip-hop group that has plagiarize two Trouble Funk songs titled 'Say What' and 'Drop The Bomb'. Music Beastie Boys song was applied in four of their work. Fourth is the song 'The New Style' and 'Hold It, Now Hit It' from the album 'Licensed to All' (1986) and the song 'Car Thief' and 'Shadrach' from the album 'Paul' (1989).
These songs have been released about 20 years ago, but Tuff America judge it is a serious violation of copyright. Now they are demanding damages from the Beastie Boys and Capitol Records label.
