Tuff America is already registered their lawsuit in the United States Supreme Court on May 3 last. While Adam died May 4 after a long time with cancer.

Tuff America claims, hip-hop group that has plagiarize two Trouble Funk songs titled 'Say What' and 'Drop The Bomb'. Music Beastie Boys song was applied in four of their work. Fourth is the song 'The New Style' and 'Hold It, Now Hit It' from the album 'Licensed to All' (1986) and the song 'Car Thief' and 'Shadrach' from the album 'Paul' (1989).

These songs have been released about 20 years ago, but Tuff America judge it is a serious violation of copyright. Now they are demanding damages from the Beastie Boys and Capitol Records label.

The label claims have to do in-depth research before filing a lawsuit. That's why now a lawsuit filed by Tuff America. Similarly, reported Contactmusic, Wednesday (09/05/2012).

Meanwhile, the Beastie Boys has yet to comment on about a lawsuit filed on them. Currently a large family of the Beastie Boys still grieving over the death of Adam.

The music world lost an important figure again. Rapper Adam Yauch from the United States died at the age of 47 years in New York on Friday (4/5) local time.

Yauch MCA whose stage name is a founding member and hip-hop group The Beastie Boys. Yauch died exactly a week after the Beastie Boys entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is a first for hip-hop group of whites had the honor of this.

Yauch himself was a three-year battle against cancer. During his life, Yauch is also known as an activist for Tibetan independence movement.

"With deep sadness, we confirmed that the musician, rapper, activist, and director Adam 'MCA' Yauch died in his hometown of Ney York after three years of fighting cancer," said a statement from a spokesman for the group.

On the music scene, The Beastie Boys, which consisted of MCA, Mike D, and Adrock, is phenomenal. The music that carries the hip-hop, rap rock, hardcore punk, and alternative hip-hop was able to capture public attention. No less than 40 million records that have been sold since its debut in 1986. They also won two Grammy awards in 1998.

Yauch died leaving his wife, Dechen, and daughter, Tenzin Losel.
